The original Paranoia range used the well proven 3DES encryption algorithm allied with specialist SCSI interface to produce a plug and play solution. The Paranoia2 family builds on this using a unique dual interlaced version of DES3 and Extended DES along with powerful pre compression to ensure a truly high speed solution. The product is truly transparent to enable it to be used with all Operating Systems, backup software and tape drive types.

The ParanoiaFF has all the functions and features of the Paranoia2 but incorporates a Gigabit fibre channel host and tape interfaces to allow it to be used in SAN configurations where Fibre Channel tape drives are being utilised. To ensure simple integration the unit takes the WWN of the connected device to ensure the integrity of the existing zoning and configuration is retained.
ParanoiaFF can be used in full fabric, point to point and arbitrated loop environments making it an affordable and easily configured solution for data storage encryption for both archive and backup use. Auto Speed sensing ensure full interoperability with both 1Gb and 2 Gb networks.

The SafeTape range of secure backup units offers a complete solution in a single enclosure to simplify the installation of a solution to meet the requirements of regulatory rules in the financial, medical, research and similar areas of commercial, industrial and government users. The SafeTape LTO unit is available with either an LTO-2 or LTO-3 tape drive, and comes in a rack mount or desk top enclosure complete with integral power supply. A front panel LCD status display indicates the operation being performed as well as showing the amount and speed of data that has been transferred securely to tape.
