SafeTape units are available with either a variety of IBM, HP, Tandberg and Quantum drives and with a choice of SDLT and LTO drives, and comes in either a rack mountable or desk top enclosure complete with integral power supply. A front panel LCD status display indicates the operation being performed as well as showing the amount and speed of data that has been transferred securely to tape.

Encrypted using a unique dual interlaced encryption mode, tapes produced on a SafeTape unit can only be read by another SafeTape or a drive connected via a Paranoia based unit with the correct user and hardware keys. You can be sure of the integrity and confidentiality of your sensitive data when using a SafeTape product.

To ensure these units maintain both the high speeds and high capacity of the drives the SafeTape units have inbuilt pre compression and an internal dual channel architecture with adaptive data caching. Select the SafeTape unit that meets you capacity requirement. SafeTape is supported on nearly all the major Independent Software vendors as well as on many legacy system so can be used in just about any system or configuration.
